A distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) occurs when multiple compromised systems flood the bandwidth or resources of a targeted system, usually one or more web servers. These systems are compromised by attackers using a variety of methods.
These attacks are not a common occurrence on our systems but when they do happen we do everything we can to quarantine and cease the attack.
Maxer Host will use all it's available resources including it's datacenter providers to help mitigate attacks on our networks. We will do our very best in any situation to divert any attacks and will update all clients in any event that a DDOS attack occurs.
